Ballybar Solutions

Ballybar Solutions has been offering Web Design, Computer Training and Computer Maintenance services to individuals and companies in Co Carlow, throughout Ireland and internationally for the last five years. As of 1 March 2007, the Web Design services will be relocating to the UK and the Computer Training and Computer Maintenance will no longer be available locally in Ireland. Larger projects will still be undertaken in Ireland on a contract basis in conjunction with CD Consultancy. Ballybar Solutions will be continuing to support and maintain Irish Web Sites developed over the last five years and will be pleased to take on any further work in Ireland. Web Design and Development

A complete, cost-effective solution for small businesses or individuals, based on straightforward, easily maintainable brochure-style Web sites. Web sites are developed using modern Web standards techniques. Take a look at the 'Working Examples' and 'Templates' sections to see the possibilities.

For a larger company the best Web Site solution is a Content Managed (CMS) site. This solution gives the company staff the opportunity to maintain and develop their own site without always having to come back to the designer. Anyone with reasonable MS Office skills can look after the site. See the CMS sections of this site for more details.

Company Web sites can be created, updated or redesigned with the added service of training staff to maintain the site. Domain registration and arrangement of hosting are also available, if required.

Training

Courses are offered to companies, training agencies and individuals for Equal Skills, ECDL, Microsoft Office Applications, Web Design, Desk Top Publishing, Computer Maintenance, Graphics and Digital Photography. These courses can be offered on site or in association with one of the local training companies. These will be available in Ireland on a contract basis. For companies, materials can be developed for bespoke software, applications or products. This includes the production of technical materials, creation of presentations and training delivered to clients anywhere in the world.

Hardware/Software

In Ireland, Ballybar Solutions will continue to support the use and development of Sentinel's Ranger Suite, which enables schools to produce quick, easy solutions to the maintenance and security of computer networks. This will include installation in schools and the training of personnel. See the Ranger Suite section for more details.

Computer maintenance services are now offered to individuals and small companies in the UK. This service covers equipment upgrades, cleaning infected systems and installing protection.
